What this website processes

prevju.dev is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics and loads nothing from third parties: fonts and search are bundled with the site, and search runs entirely in your browser.

Hosting on GitHub Pages

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, GitHub processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the requested page and details about your browser and operating system (server log files). This is required to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and reliable delivery of the website.

Data may be transferred to the USA. GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details: GitHub Privacy Statement.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.

Self-hosted prevju instances

This policy only covers prevju.dev. Whoever runs prevju themselves processes their own data there (e.g. session cookies for login and the password page) and is responsible for it.
